Eugene Henry

President

Colonel Henry (U.S. Air Force, ret) hails from a family of Veterans: Father (U.S. Army, 20 yrs), Brother (U.S. Air Force, 11 yrs), Grandfather (U.S. Army, 20 yrs), and Uncle (U.S. Army, 20 yrs).  He also has a son currently serving in the U.S. Navy (7 yrs).   Colonel Henry credits his Veteran-rich upbringing to attaining over 38 years of success in the Defense sector, which includes leadership in Information Technology (IT), major weapon systems acquisition, and analytics.  In his final active duty posting, he served as Director of Staff and Chief Information Officer of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).  He led the implementation of AFRL’s first-ever Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Network that continues to provide secure web connectivity and global scientific collaboration.  Colonel Henry excels in strategic leadership and thought, requirements determination, program management, and mentorship—endeavoring to apply these skills and his Veteran experiences to HTF. 

Colonel Henry earned his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Angelo State University, and his Master of Science in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Engineering.  He also obtained DoD Acquisition Level III professional certifications in Program Management; Test & Evaluation; and Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering.
