Sophia Tong founded the HighThrive Foundation with the singular goal of improving the lives of people who live with mental health challenges, through the development of innovative technologies that can help them to better manage their diagnoses and therapies.
As a senior executive in the tech industry, and as a long-time supporter of mental health initiatives, Ms. Tong is leveraging her knowledge and expertise to drive solutions where they are needed most. She is committed to using technology to help individuals more easily track and understand their conditions, manage their treatments, as well as to increase access to resources and advocacy groups. Her overarching objective is to help address the mental health disparities in our communities, through better access, analysis, and understanding.
Ms. Tong is the Founder and CEO of T and T Consulting Services, Inc., a woman-owned small business (WOSB), specializing in exceptional Enterprise Technology Solutions and Business Integrated Services since 2004. Under Ms. Tong's leadership, her company has grown from into a CMMI Maturity Level 3 appraised, and ISO 9001, 27000-1, and 20000-1 certified organization, with a broad array of federal government and commercial clients.
Ms. Tong has been recognized for her work and leadership through numerous professional awards, including the 2018 American Business Awards Executive of the Year Award, the Washington Business Journal's 2018 Minority Business Leader Award, the US Women's Chamber of Commerce (USWCC) Growth Master Award, and the 2019 SBA Small Business Person of the Year Award for North Virginia. Ms. Tong has served on the Montgomery County Board of Governors and is an active Member of the NIH Children's Inn Women for the Inn (WINN) Committee.
