Dr. Steve Scroggs brings 35 years of government relations, business development, and healthcare experience in growing business and elevating policy and brand for government and corporate organizations on the state, federal, and international levels. For the last 20 years, he led federal government relations and development for national medical and behavioral healthcare firms, winning major prime federal behavioral health contracts with DoD and DHS. Dr. Scroggs spent the last decade exploring proactive ways to use technology with the latest evidenced-based behavioral health resources and approaches to increase access, reduce stigma, and speed tailored assistance to those in need.
A retired Army Infantry officer and veteran, Dr. Scroggs worked on DOD/VA policies for a senior Member of Congress and later represented the Secretary of the Army's national security program issues to Capitol Hill. He taught American Politics at West Point. While working in Asia, Dr. Scroggs successfully led the State of North Carolina's Asia Operations (Investment and Trade) in Tokyo, Japan. He is a published author on congressional-military relations, a Davidson College graduate, and earned an M.A. in Political Science and a Ph.D. in American and Comparative Politics from Duke University. Dr. Scroggs serves on the Board of Governors of the National Military Family Association.
